Most of the time, we’re working with a partner once a month or once a week. But we still think about the older adults and partners we serve when we’re not there.
So what is the solution? Enter “Artist In My Pocket”!
For four weeks in late May and early June, we brought together activity professionals from our partner agencies so they could learn from the masters themselves – our artists! They walked away with techniques to execute creative programming for their residents and clients in between TAO programs.
We have to thank the Virginia Center on Aging at Virginia Commonwealth University – their support (and yours!) made this inaugural program a complete success!
