Richard Mekdeci  is an award-winning songwriter and musician and a 22 year veteran of the Nashville songwriting community. He has produced, written and recorded with such artists as Roseanne Cash, Kathy Mattea, Patty Loveless, and others.

Alexandra is a member of Symphonicity, and teaches strings at Streilitz International Academy, Young Musicians of Virginia, and the Academy of Music’s Suzuki program.

Amanda Wallace is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, where she majored in painting and printmaking before earning her Masters of Fine Arts from Goddard College.

A Note from the Artist: I discovered my passion for using creative outlets when I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in 2015 and was unable to work because I was in and out of hospitals so much. Being creative with my hands was the outlet I needed to process this life change.

After studying with top drum circle facilitators (Arthur Hull, Jana Broder, Jim Donovan, Christine Stevenson) he started Drum Your Dream. Entertainment professional Charlie O’Dowd spent 40 years in varied artistic pursuits – as a jazz singer, audio book narrator, commercial voice talent, filmmaker and stage actor. He was primarily a filmmaker with 35 years working on Hollywood films and TV shows.

Ciara Alexander is a contemporary-ambient soul singer/musician with an electric approach to live performing and producing. With hopes to make an impact through music, Ciara is known for creating memorable experiences; often accompanied by her band Remedy.

MUSIC USING variety of different types of harmonicas. JAZZ, BIG BAND, Show tunes, polkas and other types of music. Can do solo act or I have a harmonica quartet.

Bonney has been teaching yoga, meditation and mindfulness around the Hampton Roads area. Kam returned to Indoda Entsha and taught himself how to drum comfortably from his wheelchair, using this form of creative expression as a healing mechanism.

Zach Bridges and Malikah Harris perform soul, gospel, R&B and hits from the 60's to get participants singing, moving and grooving to popular music from a bygone era. This duo is amazing together!

Walt Hardy earned his MFA from Norfolk State University in 2019 and a former resident artist at the d'Art Center. His goal is to create a socially conscious body of work, which inspires viewers to look more carefully at the world around them.
