In collaboration with artists, presenting: Rich Gray is a paper artist in Norfolk, Virginia whose primary focus is on origami and hand papermaking. He started doing origami as a teenager and was later inspired by the handmade papers he saw in Japan. Rich teaches workshops for adults and children AND The Muse Writers Center's teaching artists provide a worthwhile hour of literary engagement, connecting residents with classic published works of a relatable nature, through reading and writing activities that stimulate minds and spark creativity.

Symphonicity is the symphony orchestra for the largest city in Virginia, the City of Virginia Beach. They are a proud member of the resident companies at the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts with more than 200 volunteer orchestra musicians and choristers who perform for the love of music each year. They  offer five masterworks performances, multiple pops concerts, an annual sing-along of Handel's Messiah, an annual children's concert and dozens of small chamber performances throughout our community.
