  • Traditional Belly Dancing with Treasures in the Sand

    Description: Treasures In The Sand presents traditional belly, cabaret and folkloric dance. Residents will be encouraged to gently move to the music, using scarves and other props.

  • Leigheas Celtic Music Ensemble

    Description: Leigheas is a traditional Celtic ensemble (bohdran, tin whistle, fiddle, mandolin, guitar). The group will present musical selections to honor St. Patrick's Day. This program is free and open to the public.

The VBCDC's Community Healing Arts Initiative (CHAI) supports 6 weekly Improv workshops use humor, creativity, acting and movement, and a good sense of “play”, to engage veterans in a variety of fun, verbal and nonverbal improvisation exercises to explore ideas of communication and relationships.

  • Inter-Generational Visual Arts Workshop

    Description: In this 3.5 hour special workshop at the Museum of Contemporary Art in VB, MaryAnn Toboz presents a one-hour orientation to PRA Group employees. Professional artist Donna Iona Drozda leads an inter-generational art tour with Beth Sholom Village elders and PRA Group adults. Drozda will then facilitate an exhibit-inspired visual arts workshop with participants.
